In late 2015 the Abbreviations Orchestra got together to record their long awaited second album - Golden Sands. This album features nods to classic Australian jazz with arrangements of Bernie McGann and Mark Simmonds tunes as well as a suite of new works by Andrew Garton inspired by his family's annual holidays to Currumbin.
